At the Ministry, Department and Agency Levels, Monitoring Focal Points are appointed to coordinate and undertake data entry and updating into the New Project Monitoring System (NPMS) which was named as Sarawak Monitor. Hard copy reports are also prepared by he respective implementing agencies and submitted to SIMU to complement and supplement the reports generated by the system.

The State's performance in respect of both financial and physical progress are reviewed and presented to the State Development Monitoring Committee chaired by the State Secretary on a bimonthly basis.

SIMU is also entrusted to publish reports and other informative publications.
